Last month, our factory successfully customized and shipped a horizontal charcoal furnace designed for charring fruit wood to produce biochar for a customer in Ecuador. The customer’s company focuses on transforming agricultural waste into valuable products, including soil conditioners, biogas, and renewable energy sources like biodiesel.

Ecuador boasts abundant fruitwood resources, and the client aims to enhance soil quality and boost agricultural yields by charring these woods. Additionally, they plan to utilize bio-tar, a by-product of the charring process, for further processing into a renewable energy source, supporting sustainable development.

Customer expectations and reasons for purchase

The customer expects that by implementing an efficient, durable, and eco-friendly charring furnace, they can fully satisfy the demand for fruitwood charring while also minimizing energy consumption and environmental impact.

  • This equipment features high-efficiency combustion technology and outstanding energy efficiency, which significantly lowers energy use during the carbonization process and reduces carbon dioxide emissions.
  • Equipped with a specially designed 60W diesel burner, the furnace provides a stable heat supply and ensures effective conversion throughout the charring process.
  • The furnace’s internal design prioritizes both durability and safety. With an inner liner thickness of 10mm and an outer layer of 2.5mm, the equipment is built to remain stable during long-term use.

Customized solutions for horizontal charcoal furnace

To enhance the charring effect, we have developed a specialized support system that combines a heat pump with a fan and piping for the horizontal charcoal furnace. This system effectively captures and uses the heat produced during the charring process, leading to better energy efficiency and less energy waste. As a result, customers experience increased productivity and significant savings in operating costs.

Depending on your budget, production scale, and processing materials, we also offer two other types of carbonization furnaces alongside this horizontal model: the hoisting-type carbonization furnace and the continuous charcoal charring furnace. Don’t hesitate to reach out to us for more technical assistance.
